Artist’s Reflection
This piece, titled Amira, was created on September 8, 2022—the day I met Amira’s dad. That day carried an incredible amount of energy, and I poured it all into this canvas.
If you look closely, you’ll notice a triangle forming at the center of the piece—one of my favorite shapes. To me, the triangle represents strength, balance, and divine connection.
That evening, I knew I wanted to create something, so I followed my intuition and began layering colors with intention. At the time, I was still exploring the art of acrylic pours, learning how to let paint move freely while still guiding its path.
The first layer began with red, blue, and yellow—the primary colors that represent the foundation, beginnings, and energy of creation. For the second layer, I added white, purple, and lime green, blending brightness and calm, passion and peace.
Using a small stick, I experimented with subtle movements to shape new effects. When the paint dried, the purple and green brought a beautiful, vibrant pop that transformed the piece. I sealed it with resin to preserve its shine and depth, capturing the emotion and energy of that moment forever.
