This piece holds deep emotion and reflection. Colorful (New Moon) was created during a time of release and renewal. I painted it alongside someone very special—both of us navigating heavy emotions and finding comfort through creativity. As Beyoncé’s Lemonade played in the background, this painting naturally came to life—unplanned, raw, and real.

I often find myself staring at this piece because it captures a moment when I was at my lowest, yet determined not to be consumed by the weight of my pain. The “new moon” symbolizes a fresh beginning, a personal transformation, and the shedding of energies that no longer served me.

Each color represents resilience—the reminder that no matter what trauma or hardship I’ve faced, I will heal, I will grow, and I will be okay. Whoever owns this piece will carry a part of that journey—a piece of my healing and rebirth.
