Hey, I’m Anaya — a single mother of two beautiful girls, an artist guided by the planets, the spiritual realm, and the energies that move through all of us. My work lives in that space between the seen and the unseen. You’ll often catch my pieces photographed out in nature, soaking up sunlight, wind, soil… it’s all part of their story.

When you bring home one of my canvas pieces, I want you to know something up front: I’m not here to chase perfection. I’m here to honor truth. I want you to see the smears, the grit, the dirt, the rawness — that’s the energy I’m channeling. That’s where the magic lives.

Art has been my happy place since childhood. Abstract art, especially, gives me the freedom to paint without rules in a world that’s full of them. In 2021, I discovered resin, and it changed everything. But the real turning point was the loss of my god-brother, Mark Elijah Birthwright, in 2020. His passing sparked my spiritual awakening and pushed me to take my art seriously — to create with intention, with honesty, and with spirit.

Since then, fear has tried to keep me small more times than I can count, but I’m finally in a place where I can acknowledge it and keep going anyway. By 2022, I fell in love with abstract pours, and every piece I’ve made since holds the energy I was feeling in that moment — the highs, the lows, the lessons, the healing.

Over the past four years, life has shaped me as much as I’ve shaped my art. I welcomed another daughter. I walked away from a relationship that no longer served me. I connected with incredible artists. I learned to slow down. And I realized: it’s my time now.

Outside of art, my heart lives in my work with children with autism. I’ve been in the field for six years and am now working toward becoming a BCBA. Helping kids grow and connect is one of the purest joys in my life — and honestly, it inspires my creativity just as much as my spirituality does.
